Updating Flag & Coat of Arms
Winnipeg's flag and coat of arms do not reflect the long history of the land and the people. Updating our flag and coat of arms to reflect the First Nations influence on our history would be symbolically important. I believe this could be a healthy debate for Winnipeggers to come to truly understand our history and combat racism. Symbols matter.
