Global Centre for Aboriginal Studies
As a journalist, former Winnipeg resident and employee of the Winnipeg Free Press, I suggest a Global Centre for Aboriginal Studies, an affiliate of Manitoba colleges and universities, would provide a forum and central archive for the study of aboriginal people. The GCAS would be a place for the discussion and development of programs and projects to preserve, enrich and enhance aboriginal life and culture. It would provide a significant gathering place for both business and pleasure.
