We can learn from young children about being non-racist
I was at a multi-cultural event a few years ago and one strong point I observed in the 2 hour event where children were performing plays,singing,break dancing and reading poems from countries all over the world. The event was sponsored by HELPING HANDS FOR NEW IMMIGRANTS and that event showed many cultures could come together socialize,mingle and learn from each other. It was interesting that some children where the adults from their home country are at war and yet these children did not care what countries there playmates are from we want to be just children. Why dont we get children more involved in events like this i bet they have lots to contribute!
