Racism and/or Classism

I think a lot of people would be less critical if they knew the First Nations person in question had a job and provided for his/her family without depending on welfare.

I think it is critical that we dig deep to identify the root causes for these negative stereotypes. What are the common themes of what is being said? We can only improve the situation if we correctly diagnose the "disease".
